New Moon Cacao Ritual…A Sacred Pause with the Wise Woman…

Welcome, beautiful ladies…

Today we gather beneath the darkness of the New Moon. A time of stillness. A time of possibility. A time of beginning again.

The New Moon is often described as a blank page in the sky.

A sacred pause between what has been and what is yet to come.

It is a moment to turn inward. To listen. To reflect.

To reconnect with the quiet wisdom that lives within you.

Before we set intentions or explore our journal reflections, I invite you to prepare a cup of ceremonial cacao and create a little space for yourself.

Light a candle. Take a breath. Allow yourself to arrive.

The Medicine of Cacao…

For thousands of years, cacao has been honoured as a sacred plant ally.

Often referred to as the "Food of the Gods," cacao has traditionally been used in ceremony to support connection, reflection, gratitude and heart-centred awareness.

Whilst cacao is not a psychedelic medicine, many people experience it as a gentle companion that helps them slow down, soften and become more present.

Cacao contains naturally occurring compounds including magnesium, antioxidants and theobromine, which can create a feeling of gentle alertness and wellbeing.

When approached with intention, cacao becomes more than a drink.

It becomes a ritual. An invitation to pause. To listen. To remember.

And perhaps that is exactly what the Wise Woman within us longs for.

Not more information. Not more doing. But a moment to simply be.

A New Moon Blessing…

As you hold your cup between your hands, close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in.

And a long breath out.

Feel the warmth of the cup.

Feel your body supported beneath you

Feel yourself arriving.

When you are ready, repeat softly:

"I welcome this new moon cycle with an open heart.

May I move with grace and trust.

May I honour my own rhythm.

May I release the need to force.

May I listen deeply to the wisdom within.

May I nourish what truly matters.

May I walk forward with courage, clarity and love.

And may I remember that everything I need already lives within me."

Take your first sip slowly.

Allow yourself to receive.

The Self-Reclamation Reflection

Before we plant new intentions, I invite you to begin somewhere deeper.

Place one hand on your heart. One hand on your belly. Close your eyes.

Ask yourself:

What part of myself is asking to be reclaimed?

Perhaps it is:

Your joy Your confidence Your creativity Your softness Your sensuality

Your voice Your rest Your trust

Do not force an answer. Simply listen. Trust whatever arises.

This becomes your guide for the month ahead.

Journal Contemplations

Take your journal and allow yourself to write freely.

There are no right or wrong answers.

Simply notice what wants to be expressed.

Looking Back…

What has this past moon cycle taught me?

What am I most proud of?

What am I grateful to be leaving behind?

Returning to Myself…

What part of myself am I reclaiming this month?

What brings me alive?

What nourishes my body, heart and spirit?

What have I been neglecting that now needs my attention?

The Wisdom of the Wise Woman

What is my Wise Woman trying to show me?

Where am I being invited to trust more deeply

What would happen if I stopped rushing?

What would ease look like this month?

Planting Seeds

What do I wish to cultivate over the coming weeks?

How do I want to feel?

What intention feels most aligned with who I am becoming?

What am I ready to welcome into my life?

Choosing a Guiding Word

Rather than creating a long list of goals, choose one word.

One quality. One feeling. One energy you wish to embody.

Perhaps it is:

Ease x Trust x Radiance x Presence x Courage x Joy x Simplicity x Nourishment x Freedom

Write your word somewhere visible.

Allow it to become your companion for the month ahead.

Closing…

As you finish your cacao and close your journal, place your hands once more upon your heart and belly.

Take a breath. And offer gratitude. Gratitude for the moon.

Gratitude for this moment. Gratitude for yourself.

The New Moon reminds us that every cycle offers a new beginning.

Not because we need to become someone different.

But because we are always being invited to remember more fully who we truly are.

May this moon cycle be one of nourishment. One of trust. One of gentle self-reclamation.

And may the wisdom of the Wise Woman guide your path.

With all my love, Andrea xx
