Hello Lovely, I’m Andrea, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I’m 59, a Mamma, and Nanna, and for more than 30 years, Yoga has been part of my life, but my own path has taken me far beyond the yoga mat. Through Ayurveda, Tantra, Reiki, Goddess wisdom, embodied movement, ritual, the cycles of nature and gathering in Circle, I have slowly discovered a way of living that feels much more like me.
In 2016, I lost my beautiful mum to cancer. Her death changed me deeply. Grief has a way of stripping life back to what really matters, and during that time my spiritual practices became much more than things I taught or studied. They became part of how I lived through what was happening.
I began to understand devotion differently. So, I haven't arrived here in a straight line. I have moved through my own seasons of change, exhaustion, questioning, beginning again and wondering what comes next. Along the way, these practices have been the things I have returned to again and again.
Yoga brings me back into my body. Ayurveda reminds me to live with the seasons. Reiki helps me become quiet and listen. The Goddesses have become companions on my path. Dance gets me out of my busy mind and back into myself. Ritual helps me mark the moments and transitions of my life. And Circle continually reminds me that women were never meant to do all of this alone.
This is really why The Wild Woman Academy™ exists. It is a gathering place for the practices, teachings and wisdom that have supported me in becoming more fully myself — and that I now love sharing with other women.
I believe deeply that a woman's body is not a problem to fix. We don't need to continually push, perfect or reinvent ourselves. Sometimes we need to slow down enough to hear ourselves again. To notice the season we are in. To listen to our bodies. To remember what matters. And perhaps, most importantly, to have other women walking beside us while we do it.
Whether you find your way here through Yoga, Reiki, the Goddess Path, seasonal living, mentorship, ritual or Circle, my hope is that something here helps you feel a little more connected to yourself and a little more at home in your own life.
Welcome to The Wild Woman Academy™.
I’m very glad you’re here.
With all my love & Devotion,
Andrea xx
