8:8 | The Wild Woman's Return to Radiance…

Hello gorgeous ladies.

Today is 8:8, a date that has become known as the Lion's Gate Portal and, for many, a symbolic moment of courage, expansion, possibility and new beginnings.

But this year, I don't want to invite you to write another enormous manifestation list or think about everything you need to attract, achieve or become. In fact, I want to invite you to do almost the opposite.

I want to ask you:

What if the life you are longing for begins by coming back to yourself?

Lately, I have been thinking deeply about the Wild Woman and what she means to me now. Not simply the wild-haired, barefoot woman running through the forest ~ although, let's face it, I rather like her too! ~ but the woman underneath all of that.

The woman who is no longer prepared to abandon herself.

The woman who listens to her body. Who protects her energy. Who rests when she needs to rest. Who trusts her own knowing. Who stops looking sideways at everybody else's life and wondering whether she is doing it right.

She is the woman who cares less and less about what everybody thinks and more and more about whether the life she is living actually feels like hers.

And I truly believe that is what being truly untamed means.

We are living in a crazy world. A world that constantly wants our attention. Phones, news, social media, emails, work, responsibilities, comparison, noise and more information than our nervous systems were ever designed to process.

No wonder so many of us are exhausted.

No wonder we sometimes lose our spark.

No wonder we become disconnected from ourselves.

And I am becoming increasingly convinced that one of the most radical things a woman can do in this world is learn how to regulate her nervous system and return to herself.

Again. And again. And again.

Because a regulated woman is powerful.

She doesn't have to react to everything.

She can pause. She can discern. She can say no. She can trust herself.

She can decide what deserves her precious energy and what doesn't.

So today, I invite you to make 8:8 a little threshold, a doorway back to the woman underneath all the noise.

Give yourself twenty or thirty minutes. Light a candle. Find your journal. Gather a flower or something beautiful from nature. Make yourself a cup of cacao or tea and turn your phone off.

Let this little pocket of time belong completely to you.

Begin by placing one hand on your heart and one upon your lower belly. Breathe gently in for four and out for six.

Whisper quietly:

I am here. I am listening. I return to myself.

Then take your journal and ask yourself:

What am I no longer willing to sacrifice my peace for?

Don't write the answer you think you should write.

Write the truth.

This is Wild Woman territory.

Not rebellion for rebellion's sake.

Truth.

Where has my life become too serious?

What makes me feel deliciously alive?

What can I start doing simply because I love it?

Write down three things that bring some juice back into your life.

And choose one.

Not because it is good for you.

Not because it is productive.

But because it feels GOOD.

Next…

Where am I leaking energy?

What is replenishing me?

What does my body need more of?

And listen carefully.

Maybe the answer isn't another supplement, morning routine or thing to add to your list.

Sometimes our medicine is incredibly simple.

Finally, close your eyes and imagine yourself six months from now, it will be January 2027.

Imagine you.

Deeply at home in yourself.

Regulated. Nourished. Alive. Trusting yourself. Living in your own lane.

Caring far less about what everybody else thinks.

Ask that woman:

What did you stop doing?

What did you begin choosing?

What do you want me to know?

And write……

To close your ritual, place both hands over your heart and whisper:

I call my energy home.

I release the need to prove myself.

I choose to honour the wisdom of my body.

I choose what nourishes me.

I welcome pleasure, beauty and joy back into my life.

I return to myself.

And then go and live it.

Because we don't need another portal promising to transform our lives.

Perhaps we are the portal.

Happy 8:8, gorgeous You.

With all my love,

Andrea xx
